Executive Committee:

The members of the executive committee serve a term of one year and lead the operations of the section.  Executive Committee members also serve on the other committees.  Meetings of the Executive Committee are open to section members, and members can attend in person or via Zoom. Editorial Committee:

The editorial staff for the section newsletter, The Long View, works with authors to develop articles for the quarterly publication.  Members meet occasionally in-person in Portland and by telephone.  The editorial staff is searching for authors for future editions of The Long View.  Please contact section chair Sara Butcher if you would like to volunteer for the committee or are interested in writing an article for The Long View.

Programs Committee:

The members of the Programs and CLE Committee organize from 5 to 10 events annually throughout Oregon.  The members meet in-person in Portland and by telephone to develop ideas, arrange for presenters, and produce the materials for the events.  Please contact the Chair of the Programs Committee, Michelle Smith, if you are interesting in volunteering for the committee or sharing any program ideas.

Awards Committee:

The Awards Committee is responsible for managing and reviewing the various entities who wish to be a part of our Partners in Sustainability Program, as well as hosting an annual team in the Eco-Challenge put on by the Northwest Earth Institute.
